Your church key — keep it secret, and the same every time
This key is mixed into every ID so the same person gets the same code across all your events. Save it somewhere safe (a password manager). We never see it — without it, no one can turn a code back into a person.
1 · Bring your data
Upload your export, or paste rows straight from your spreadsheet (include the header row). CSV, tab, or comma — all fine.
2 · Confirm the columns
Auto-matched below — fix any that are off. Blue fields build the anonymous ID or the demographic code; they stay on this device and are never written to the coded file.
3 · Your coded sheet
De-identified and ready. No names, no contact, no birthdates — just a stable ID and code. Download it and load it into your scoreboards.
Preview shows the first 12 rows. The download and copy include everyone. The Person ID is a one-way code — it can't be reversed into a name without your church key.
The code: [Gender][Marital][BirthYear] — e.g. FM83 = Female · Married · born 1983. Age, marital & gender ride inside that one token, so the birthdate is dropped.
